Vørulýsing

Mykines is the most westerly island in the Faroe Islands. From Mykines there is a pedestrian bridge to the islet where the lighthouse is situated. On Mykines there is only one village, which is the village of the same name. The village can be seen in the background. Mykines is widely famous among ornithologists for its rich bird life, such as puffins and northern gannets.
